Newsletter June 2020

Dear Readers,

The past three months at the Johannes Hospiz since the publication of the March newsletter have been dominated by one issue: COVID-19. Hospice routines continue to be impacted by the restrictions, and we believe that this will remain the case for the foreseeable future. From an Academy standpoint, this has meant and continues to mean the cancellation of all training and further education events. In terms of international activities, all travel arrangements are on hold for the time being. But there are also opportunities to be had, such as taking the time to join up with colleagues from Ukraine to prepare content for a palliative care reference book or finalising work on the guiding principles of our hospice.

I wish you all a summer full of joy, happiness, relaxation and plenty of time in the great outdoors.

Yours, Andreas Stähli
