Newsletter March 2020

Dear Readers,

The new year brought ambitious and moving tasks to the Academy right from the start. Beside a closed conference of several days on “Spirituality and Existential Communication”, organized by “Diakonie” (= protestant social work) Germany and the German Association for Palliative Medicine, a trip to Ukraine on the occasion of the course “Palliative Care for Physiotherapists” is to be emphasized. Directed by Peter Nieland from Bonn, it was my task to make a contribution to aspects of nursing, communication, and spirituality. It is always a great pleasure to me to be in Ivano-Frankivsk. I have drawn up a short survey of the central projects in 2019 under the heading “Widening the Horizon”.

I wish you much strength and that you time and again may find moments for pausing and taking care of yourself.

Yours

Andreas Stähli

This intensification has been made possible by the financial support of the Foreign Office.
